CCPA was signed into law on June 28, 2018, and went into effect on January 1, 2020. CCPA grants California consumers robust data privacy rights and control over their personal information, including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information that businesses collect, as well as additional protections for minors.
On June 1, 2020, the Office of the California Attorney General submitted the final proposed regulations package under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to the California Office of Administrative Law (OAL).
Our CMP ensures you remain compliant with regulations and we provide two implementation options. We support a signed Limited Service Provider Agreement (LSPA) signal if you have signed agreement with Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). AdConsent is our IAB-registered Consent Management Platform fully supporting version 2.0 of Transparency and Consent Framework of IAB, you can learn more in the IAB official website.
Snigel Web Services Ltd. participates in the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework, complies with its Specifications and Policies and operates the Consent Management Platform with the identification number 229.
You can opt for our fully-automated solution where the only thing you need to do is set your privacy policy link as well as the LSPA signal if applicable.
This demo page is using the fully-automated mode, where you can see a CCPA floating button in the bottom left corner. The user can click this button and then set the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information to third parties.
We also provide a more elaborate solution, enabling the opt-out banner to be triggered from a personalized link in the publisher's page. If this option is configured, the automatic button (visible in this demo) will not be displayed and the banner will be shown upon clicking in that personalized element. This allows for a better integration with the page contents and a better user experience, being the recommended way to implement CCPA in a publisher site.
We provide AdConsent our CMP, as a value added service, baked into our core AdEngine product.
It is customizable and future-proof so it can be easily rolled out to meet new demands and regulations.
